In September of 2000, I left full-time employment with Metro Information Services and began consulting on my own through Cedar City Group, LLC. I have had the pleasure of working with several different companies and a ton of great people. In July of 2007, I completed an engagement with the City of Nashville, and began looking for my next opportunity. After evaluating my options, my best opportunity turned out to be leaving the ranks of the self-employed and returning to full-time employment with a company named Digital Dog.
What does that mean for Cedar City Group, LLC?
Cedar City Group, LLC will continue to function. We still host several web sites, provide maintenance for existing clients and such. However, my main development focus will be to concentrate on my work with Digital Dog.
What is cedarcitygroupblog.com?
A couple of months ago, I began a personal web log ('blog') named Constant Transformation. It contains my personal musings about spirituality, news, humor different stuff. I found myself wanting to put technical information in that blog, but I decided to keep personal stuff and technical business stuff separate. For that reason, cedarcitygroupblog.com is born. My plan is to provide information for business owners and developers alike.
Who is the audience?
There are varying levels of sophistication with business owners and developers. If you are a super technical developer or a super technical business owner, you will probably not find any information here that you don't already know. My target audience is the entry to mid-level developer who is trying to make sense of it all and the business owner who is busy running their business and just needs some advice on how to use the technology that is available. There will also likely be some humor and observations from the 'trenches' so to speak.
